The role involves researching ideas, scripting, and collaborating with clients to deliver engaging, industry-relevant videos while staying abreast of new tools and trends in media tech.

Qualifications

• Degree preferred in communications or related field, major in broadcast journalism or film/video production.
• Diploma holders with interest in current affairs and film/video production considered.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in producing varied video content.
• Excellent command of English with storytelling flair, visual sense and detail orientation.
• Self-disciplined, able to work independently and under time pressure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to think critically and creatively.
• Keen interest in current affairs, military/defence matters and media technology trends.

Responsibilities

• Plan, research, create, produce and present video content for social channels.
• Oversee concept development, scripting, filming, hosting, editing and audio balancing.
• Source topics, develop engaging content for various platforms and audiences.
• Cover local and overseas events; host productions on-camera and be deployable internationally.
• Work within on-site constraints and post-production schedules; produce fast-cycle content when needed.
• Support digital crisis communication and incident response videos when required.
• Stay updated on new tools, platforms and technologies for content creation.
