Job summary

DSTNCT Pte Ltd is seeking a highly creative Video Editor to join our growing new media team. You will craft platform-native edits for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, guiding narrative from concept to final cut with strong attention to pacing and storytelling.

You will work with our Directors, Producers, and content teams to deliver compelling, on-brand videos, employing After Effects for motion graphics and ensuring high-quality colour grading and delivery across formats.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of video editing experience with a portfolio
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve and After Effects is a plus
• Experienced editing social-first content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram
• Basic motion graphics and colour grading knowledge
• A keen eye for pacing, rhythm and storytelling
• Able to take direction and iterate quickly with feedback

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form content for social channels.
• Shape story, pacing and emotional beats to maximise retention.
• Identify strong hooks and cuts to drive watchability across platforms.
• Add text overlays, motion graphics, sound design and color adjustments.
• Collaborate with Director, Producer, and Content team to align on narrative.
• Ensure consistency with branding and client guidelines.
