Summary

Support the Managing Director & CEO, the Senior Vice President is accountable for delivering measurable results that achieves business objectives and exceeds revenue, profitability targets by developing and implementing an overall sales and marketing strategy.

  • Oversee planning and execution of business growth strategies across APAC region, including new projects and expanding business opportunities in Viet Nam, Thailand, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia and Singapore. Play an integral role in development, management and integration of overall sales and marketing strategies, plans, programs and functions to drive and achieve targeted opportunities and sales revenue for APAC region.
  • Provide leadership, direction and management to the sales and marketing teams in a manner that ensures exceptional service to all stakeholders and that procedures market differentiation and competitive advantage.
  • Establish and maintain a strong and collaborative network of relationships with strategic partners and key stakeholders within the industry to develop sales strategies and tactics and identify possible business solutions to best address customers' needs.
  • Responsible for leading the strategic planning and execution for MPW-AP's business growth strategy by leveraging on business analytics encompasses of market segments, customer and competitor insights, trend and scenario analysis and other strategic data and information.
Responsibilities
Business Development
  • Develops the vision and implements the plan that propels the company towards increased market share/business profitability and greater brand visibility and recognition.
  • Build and cultivate the strategic relationships with all relevant key personnel to lead and expand business opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders from affiliated company and HQ in Japan (i.e. MHI/MPW) to ensure integrated sales & marketing strategies and activities are aligned according to the overall corporate and business objectives.
Marketing Strategy
  • Establish and track clear sales metrics and benchmarks for measuring progress and maintaining focus, creates a region wide marketing reporting function that track, measure and analyze performance for all marketing programs and activities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and market share through reviewing market developments, competitive activities and clients' changing needs through the APAC region.
  • Collaborate with MHI-AP to keep abreast with the decarbonization trend in the APAC region and contribute meaningful insight and strategic linkage in the development of solutions to promote initiatives that best meet the needs of our customers.
  • Contribute to business planning using the market and competitive intelligence component of strategic plan.
  • Develop Long Term Growth Strategy Plan using Long Term Market Analysis Report.
Oversee Sales (New Projects)
  • Lead, mentor, evaluate and develop the sales & marketing teams to achieve optimal performance and strengthen the sales organization in the APAC region.
  • Maintain relationships with customers' project teams to ensure MPW-AP and MHI/MPW delivery of services in compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Provide leadership in business negotiations and decision-making process with key clients and relevant stakeholders that will maximize MPW-AP’s business interests.
  • Lead and coordinate APAC-region public relations and branding activities, ensuring consistent corporate messaging, brand positioning, and alignment with global communication and marketing strategies.
  • Act as the central liaison among APAC offices, headquarters, and external partners, consolidating regional PR and branding initiatives, managing information flow, and supporting market-specific execution.
Business and Industry Networking
  • Proactively maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the APAC region.
  • Represent MPW-AP in business networking functions and industry events on a regular basis.
  • Assume other business and senior-level related responsibilities, which may be assigned.
