Job summary

Anglo-Eastern is seeking a Senior Vessel Manager/Deputy Fleet Manager to take full responsibility for the safe operation of a fleet of steam-turbine-propelled LNG carriers based in Singapore. You will oversee day-to-day vessel performance, supervise dry-docks and repairs, and ensure compliance with international safety standards.

In addition to vessel inspections, you will conduct technical investigations, manage budgets allocated to vessels, and produce regular performance reports.

Qualifications

• 2-8 years shore-based experience as a Vessel Manager.
• Minimum 10 years sailing experience.
• Minimum 2 years sailing experience as Chief Engineer.
• Experience with steam-turbine-propelled LNG carriers required.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the safe operation of a fleet of LNG carriers.
• Oversee day-to-day vessel performance and monitor operations.
• Supervise dry-dockings and repairs and carry out vessel inspections.
• Conduct technical investigations and ensure regulatory certifications are up to date.
• Manage vessel budgets and produce regular performance reports.
