2. MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- A. Advanced Vehicle Diagnostics and Troubleshooting
- Conduct full-system electronic diagnostics using Jaltest and compatible OEM diagnostic systems.
- Independently identify and resolve complex electrical, electronic, mechanical and engine-management faults.
- Retrieve, interpret and analyse fault codes, freeze-frame information, live sensor data and diagnostic histories.
- Troubleshoot recurring, intermittent and multiple simultaneous fault codes.
- Investigate faults that other mechanics are unable to resolve.
- Perform systematic root-cause analysis instead of relying on trial-and-error parts replacement.
- Investigate breakdowns, engine derating, no-start conditions, intermittent shutdowns and communication faults.
- Determine whether faults originate from mechanical components, wiring harnesses, sensors, actuators, ECUs, software or vehicle communication systems.
- Prepare clear diagnostic findings and corrective-action recommendations.
