Job description

Senior UX Research (Up $14k, Contract convertible, Central)

9 to 12 months (maternity cover) — convertible if good performance.

Up $14k.

Central region.

Duties:

• Partner cross-functionally with product management, design, content strategy, data science, and engineering to identify important research questions.
• Collaboratively and independently develop and execute research studies that span different phases of the product development cycle.
• Identify the right research methodologies and execute with rigor.
• Collaborate closely with other UX researchers to leverage and build upon knowledge.
• Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways.
• Generate insights that shape how product teams think about short, medium, and long-term product strategy.

Requirements:

• Preferably MA/MS/PhD in a human behavior related field (HCI, Psychology, Sociology, Information Science, Economics, Political Science, etc.) or equivalent.
• Min. 5+ years experience in applied product research.
• Previous experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods will be highly preferred.
