About the team TikTok Product Business Analytics – User Research team is dedicated to understanding the diverse needs and behaviors of users and creators across the globe. By leveraging deep insights and data‑driven strategies, we support multiple business lines, enhancing user experiences and driving sustainable growth.

Our team is composed of passionate researchers who tackle complex challenges to inform product strategy across several product pillars.

  1. Lead user research for the short video business to help the team understand user preferences and behaviors across various markets.
  2. Manage research projects from defining objectives to delivering actionable insights, including study design, execution, and reporting.
  3. Identify growth opportunities and recommend strategies based on in‑depth understanding of user needs and business goals.
  4. Work closely with cross‑functional teams to proactively propose and prioritize research initiatives that align with business priorities.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in market and user research, with expertise in conducting qualitative and quantitative studies.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in fields such as Psychology, Statistics, Sociology, Marketing, Economics, International Trade, or a related field.
  • Self‑motivated and curious, with a willingness to explore new approaches.

Comfortable managing multiple tasks and working in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Strong team player with excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of managing projects independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working in an international environment.
  • Experience with international research is preferred.
  • Proficient in statistical tools such as SPSS and SQL; experience in big data analysis is an advantage.
