Job summary

We seek seniors with expertise in Commodities or FX options and at least 5 years of Murex consulting, capable of mentoring or leading a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Commodities or FXO work.
• Very good knowledge of financial markets and products.
• Strong analytical and quantitative finance skills.
• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to take leadership responsibilities and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute projects autonomously across client portfolios.
• Proactively support trading desks by understanding needs and proposing solutions.
• Lead requirements gathering and design during implementations.
• Ensure fit and quality of delivered products through planning and supervision.
• Prepare presales presentations for prospects and clients.
• Train users and junior consultants.
• Manage client instances and oversee production support.
• Coordinate with HQ product team and contribute to regional roadmaps.

Role Accountabilities:

We are looking for seniors with expertise in Commodities or FX options with mentorship or team lead experience, possessing at least 5 years’ of proven Murex consulting work (CS or PDD). As a senior member of the Trading team, you will be responsible to lead and execute autonomously our portfolio of activities on different projects and clients.

• Proactively support trading desks with a deep understanding of their needs and our available solutions to propose the best possible fit and the best possible path
• Lead the requirement gathering and design on your area(s) of expertise during software implementation and design
• Ensure fit and quality of the delivered product in the subsequent project execution through planning and supervision
• Prepare and execute presales presentations for prospects and existing clients on your area(s) of expertise
• Train users, external consultants, and/or Murex junior consultants
• Depending on occasions and abilities, you could also take one or more cross-teams leadership responsibilities
• Manage the production and support of a client instance, leveraging on a team of various experts
• Lead all trading designers during an implementation or upgrade project as stream lead
• Handle the relationship with the headquarters product team on one area of expertise, and build the product roadmap for the region

• To be successful in the role, you should possess Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• At least 5 years of experience in Commodities or FXO related work
• Very good knowledge of financial markets and products.
• Strong analytical skills required (quantitative analysis ability is a plus).
• Strong background in mathematics applied to Finance
• Excellent communicator, able to explain and lead on your area of expertise
