Job summary

red alpha cybersecurity is seeking a Test Lead to guide testing activities and coordinate the test team. You will drive test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting to ensure software quality across projects.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication with stakeholders, and deep understanding of SDLC/STLC in both Agile and Waterfall environments. Collaboration with PMs and development teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of software testing experience, including 1-2 years in a lead role.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM).
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and test schedules.
• Lead and coordinate day-to-day testing activities.
• Review test cases and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Monitor test execution progress and report status, risks, and issues.
• Manage defect tracking, triage, and resolution with development teams.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression, and production validation testing.
• Mentor and provide guidance to testers.
• Build rapport with testers and stakeholders.
• Ensure testing deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards.
