Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, in Singapore, seeks a Senior / Technician (Inspection) to inspect engine and aircraft components per manuals, raise travellers for repairables, and support daily operations.

The role requires a NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, 2 years’ experience in engine/inspection, and proficiency with SAP and MS Office. Willingness to rotate Day/Night shifts and overtime is expected.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Min 2 years of relevant experience in engine or module assembly, disassembly, inspection or testing.
• Good understanding of technical drawing and manuals.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and hands-on in approach.
• Proactive and eager to learn, with a growth mindset.
• Willing to work rotating shifts (Day & Night) and commit to overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the engine and aircraft components per engine manuals and raise traveller for repairable components.
• Following up on Engineering Inquiry, Defect Reports and Tasklogs for full paperwork closures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during daily operations to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Support the Supervisors in achieving production targets and meeting operational targets.
• Perform SAP transactions, including updating and modifying service orders as required.
• Actively participate in EH&S programs, continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain high standards of ethics and compliance.
