  • Monitor and report contractor performance and work progress.
  • Assist Technical Officers and Engineers in troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance and conduct inspections.

Job description

Our client is a leading power generation company in Singapore. They are looking for a Technician / Senior Technician (Control & Instrumentation) to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in the West- easily accessible.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM – 5:30 PM

Company Transport: Provided from Choa Chu Kang (7:20 AM) and Jurong East (7:15 AM) MRT stations

Responsibilities
  • Carry out maintenance, servicing, and overhaul of control and instrumentation (C&I) equipment to ensure reliable plant operation.
  • Supervise contractors during maintenance works to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to technical and contractual requirements.
  • Monitor and report contractor performance and work progress.
  • Assist Technical Officers and Engineers in troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and investigation of plant defects or outages.
  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, conduct inspections, and monitor equipment conditions to detect potential issues early.
Requirements
  • NITEC / Higher NITEC / ITE qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Control, or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Experience in power generation, utilities, petrochemical, or process plant industries will be advantageous
  • Strong hands-on technical and troubleshooting skills
  • Good teamwork and communication abilities
