Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Troubleshoot, recovery and resolve equipment breakdown on plant automation equipment e.g. Autonomous Mobile Robot, Automated Strapping and Unstrapping Equipment, Automated Materials Handling System, Overhead Transportation System, Automated Storage & Retrieval System, Automated Packing Equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic computer hardware and software issues independently / with IT engineer assistance.
• Perform system & server recovery on automation / manufacturing systems e.g. storage system, transportation system, remote command center.
• Assist engineer on software roll-out, and periodical system / server OS & AV patching and update.
• Impart basic operation and troubleshooting skills to operators.
• Perform automation equipment critical checks and restoration.
• Perform preventive maintenance on automation equipment.
• Support engineers on equipment continuous improvement programs.
• Assist engineers on spare part management.

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Min. Diploma or equivalence in Mechatronics/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
• Min. 3-5 years of relevant experience with automation equipment
• Must be a team player and able to work independently
• Good interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Willing to learn and able to pick up skills quickly
• Willing to work on 12hrs permanent Day/Night shift
• NITEC / Higher NITEC holder is also welcome if have min. 5 years’ experience with automation equipment
