Job description

As Senior Technician, you’ll be assisting the Shift Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer in managing the engineering/maintenance of your hotel and ensure the safety and comfort of hotel guests and team members.

A little taste of your day-to-day
  • Assisting the Assistant Chief Engineer with general hotel and building minor maintenance work
  • Ensuring that work is completed to a high standard within your established trade which meets the needs and expectations
  • Initiating actions to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers
  • Conducting routine inspection checks on all operational Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) equipment of the hotel
  • Ensuring all work procedures are aligned to Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) guidelines
  • Using energy efficient methods to reduce energy consumption expenses
  • Logging security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements
  • Handling duties as an Emergency Respond team member during fire, Bomb-threats and any emergency cases in the hotel
