Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform regular maintenance/servicing duties to ensure the proper functioning of building facilities, machinery, and equipment.
  • Maintain proper maintenance documentation and tracking of machinery/equipment spare parts.
  • Attend to defects and breakdowns as well as tenants’ requests on maintenance matters.
  • Reporting on equipment malfunction regarding repair or replacement work, breakdown root cause and concerns to management.
  • Basic knowledge and management of Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Basic knowledge of checking and managing the Chiller and Cooling tower.
  • Attend to changing of locksets and keys duplication.
  • Estimate the length of time required to complete a job and the likely consequences of failure to complete work within the required timeline.
  • Identify and escalate any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damage.
  • Ensure all work is undertaken to a high standard and adheres to all quality standard regulations and local requirements.
  • Identify spare requirements and log usage.
  • Assist in the development of planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules.
  • Carry out PPM Schedules as necessary, the plan works order as required, and provide feedback to develop the system.
  • Assist with the moving, installation, and repositing of machines and equipment.
  • Ensure all lost time, and minor and trivial accidents are reported.
  • Ensure a safe working environment exists for self and colleagues, ensuring all health, safety environment and quality management procedures are followed and achieved the company and department KPI targets.
