Senior Technical Services Engineer (Operation & Maintenance)

Job Description:

Connect Energy is partnering with a Operator who has one of the biggest O&G project in Singapore to look for this position to join their esteem organization.

Responsibilities

• To perform feasibility studies, trend analysis on process disciplines and to provide technical leadership for continuous plant operation
• To monitor the performance, reliability and efficiency on the plant assigned to.
• Troubleshoot plant issues relating to process and equipment and to work closely with maintenance and operation team for any improvement required
• Advice Ops Team on parameters to optimize operation performances
• Play active role in plant shutdown, start up and commissioning activities
• Provide support for plant turnaround planning and justifying the scope.
• Supervision on work packages, QA during Plant turnaround
• Review and improve critical operating procedures within guidance from technical experts

Requirements

• Degree inChemical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years process engineering plant, operation support experience in Industrial Gas Pant and/or Oil & Gas / petrochemical / refinery / pharma and related plants
• Experience in complex process plant, preferably in technical services and/or operation support will be an advantage
• Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing the operation of process plants and/or good conceptual knowledge gained as part of EPC projects
• Knowledge of Industrial standards and applicable codes for process plants
• Strong team person with good problem solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Possess modelling skills an advantage
• Possess financial and commercial awareness an advantage
