Senior Technical Lead – Partner Integration (Travel Systems / Java)

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Technical Lead with strong Java and API integration expertise to lead our efforts in connecting with travel suppliers, OTAs, and channel partners. You’ll architect, build, and optimize API integrations that power our booking, pricing, and availability systems across global travel partners.

What You’ll Do

Lead the design and development of partner and supplier API integrations.

Build scalable Java-based microservices and middleware for supplier connectivity.

Work on integrations with GDS, ticketing, and activity suppliers (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Viator, etc).

Ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance data exchange between systems.

Collaborate with product and partner teams to onboard new suppliers efficiently.

Mentor developers and establish integration best practices and standards.

What You’ll Bring

5+ years of backend development experience (Java 8+, Hibernate, Grails, Spring Boot).

Proven experience with API integration in the travel or e-commerce domain.

Strong understanding of REST & SOAP APIs, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and API gateway design.

Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure), message queues (ActiveMQ), and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with databases (MySQL) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
