Your day at NTT DATA

As a Senior Collaboration Technical Architect at NTT DATA, you will be an advanced subject matter expert playing a central role in designing and implementing collaborative solutions that enhance communication, information sharing, and teamwork. Your day will involve working closely with business users, IT teams, and executive management to translate business needs into robust technical designs ready for implementation.

You will design and architect collaborative solutions that align with our business goals, focusing on scalability, security, and performance. By collaborating with stakeholders, you will gather business requirements and propose appropriate technical solutions, assessing and recommending the best collaboration platforms and tools to meet the organization's needs.

In this role, you will maintain technical documentation such as solution architecture diagrams, design specifications, and implementation plans. Your expertise will be essential in developing long‑term strategic plans to ensure our collaboration tools are future‑proof and meet evolving requirements. You will be seen as a trusted advisor, providing technical guidance during the implementation phases.

Additionally, you will provide pre‑sales technical support, helping to analyze client requirements and ensuring our solutions align with their objectives. You will play a key role in producing technical specifications for custom developments and system integration, creating detailed technical design documents, and participating in scope‑of‑work determination, product pricing, and rFP/rFI responses.

Ensuring compliance with DATA privacy regulations and organizational security policies, you will own proposed solutions, transitioning them to the delivery team for implementation. Your responsibilities will also include managing client proof‑of‑concept (POC) initiatives, preparing executive summaries, and reviewing and signing off on final proposals to be presented to clients.

To thrive in this role, you need to have:

• A deep understanding of collaboration platforms like Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, Google Workspace, or similar tools.
• An advanced understanding of network protocols, topologies, and security measures.
• Expertise in system and software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Proficiency in ensuring compliance with security best practices, DATA privacy regulations, and other compliance requirements.
• Experience designing seamless integration between collaboration tools and other enterprise systems (e.g., Active Directory, ERP, CRM).
• Knowledge of APIs, web services, and DATA exchange protocols for integrating collaboration tools with existing infrastructure.
• Advanced client engagement skills with solid technical consulting capability.
• A strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
