Job description

Our client is a Global Multinational Corporation with strong presence in APAC and headquartered in Singapore. They are currently looking for a Senior Tax Manager to join their team in Singapore, reporting directly to the Tax Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee accurate and timely tax compliance (direct and indirect), manage audits and investigations, and align practices with Group tax policies.

Provide tax advisory for business operations, M&A, funding, and transfer pricing, partnering with business units to optimize tax outcomes.

Ensure compliance with evolving tax regulations (e.g. BEPS 2.0), and enhance processes through automation and improved reporting frameworks.

Support global implementation of the Tax Risk & Governance Framework, assess and mitigate tax risks across subsidiaries.

Analyze fiscal policy changes, communicate business impacts to stakeholders, prepare documentation, and conduct internal training.

REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Accounting with a major in taxation; Accredited Tax Advisor (Income Tax) preferred.

10+ years of experience in tax roles within Big 4 firms and/or global corporations.

Strong knowledge of direct and indirect taxes across the Asia Pacific region.

Deep expertise in international tax, including structuring, funding, repatriation, and transfer pricing.

Experienced in tax reporting, managing audits, and handling investigations.
