Job summary

BDO in Singapore seeks a skilled tax professional to provide tax compliance, assessment and advisory services for a mixed portfolio of corporate and individual clients. The role involves overseeing engagements, budgeting, scheduling, and staff management, while serving as the liaison between tax authorities and clients to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate holds ISCA-recognised accounting qualifications, with 5–8 years in CPA firms, and has strong technical knowledge of global tax standards.

Qualifications

• Professional qualifications / Accounting degree recognised by ISCA.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in CPA firms.
• Abreast with the latest technical and tax standards around the world.
• Ability to lead and manage teams.
• Good command of English with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and good interpersonal skills.
• Service-oriented and commercially focused, confident, extremely well-organised and can analyse and make things happen, and work effectively in a highly motivated environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance, assessment and advisory services.
• Oversee the entire engagements which includes but not limited to work plan, scheduling, budgeting, staff management, etc.
• Be the point of contact between tax authorities and clients in answering and resolving issues.
• Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges.
• Train, coach, and supervise staff.
• Be actively involved to help identify and research on tax issues.
