Job summary

A premier resort in Singapore is seeking a Systems Operations Engineer to ensure seamless operation of its IT infrastructure. This role emphasizes maintaining Windows, Linux, and cloud-based systems while implementing cutting-edge automation and monitoring solutions. A strong background in systems administration with a minimum of 5 years experience is essential, along with relevant certifications. Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in systems administration or SysOps, preferably in 24/7 operational environments.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements: PCI-DSS, GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize Windows, Linux, and cloud-based systems.
• Implement proactive monitoring to prevent downtime.
• Design, implement, and manage security of identity infrastructure.

Skills

Expertise in administering a multi-domain/multi-site AD environment

Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)

Strong knowledge of AD replication, topology, and domain controller management

Scripting ability in PowerShell, Bash, or Python

Good knowledge of Windows Server and Linux server

Clear written and verbal communication

Education

Certifications such as AWS SysOps Administrator or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator

At least 5 years experience in systems administration
