Job summary

A leading technology firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced IT Operational Support professional. You will provide customer support while managing incidents and ensuring compliance with service level agreements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and over 8 years of relevant experience. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, along with the ability to work in a customer-facing role, are essential. This position requires 12-hour rotational shifts and willingness to travel as needed.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support for systems, including maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and networks.
• Deliver technical consultation to customers on system, network, and desktop support, ensuring service level agreement (SLA) compliance and timely incident resolution.
• Manage and resolve service requests, incidents, and problems in accordance with ITIL best practices.
• Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity management to maintain operational stability and efficiency.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of incidents, changes, and resolutions to support IT service management processes.
• Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT operational support, with demonstrated expertise in Windows operating systems, networking, application systems, and hardware.
• Experience in a customer-facing support environment is a plus.
• Strong technical, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, combined with a customer-centric approach and excellent interpersonal communication.
• Proven track record in managing incidents, service requests, and problem resolution with experience in ITIL frameworks.
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites as needed.
• Able to work 12-hour rotational shifts, including both day and night.
