Job summary

hermeneutic investments seeks an exceptional portfolio manager to build and manage a systematic trading portfolio across digital asset markets. You will run an independent book, rely on data-driven signals, and deploy strategies from research to execution with significant ownership of the investment lifecycle.

You will collaborate with researchers and engineers to backtest and deploy scalable strategies, manage risk in 24/7 markets, and maintain disciplined drawdown controls while seeking alpha

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or C++, with data analysis and modeling experience.
• Strong experience in systematic trading and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to design, backtest, and deploy scalable systematic strategies.
• Research and identify differentiated sources of alpha using quantitative methods.
• Architect an automated portfolio allocation framework optimizing capital, margin, and collateral while enforcing drawdown limits.
• Oversee automated trade execution, minimizing slippage and market impact.
• Implement real-time risk frameworks to monitor exposures and tail risks in 24/7 markets.
• Develop and deploy strategies across centralized and decentralized crypto venues where applicable.
