A global innovation company in Singapore seeks a skilled technician to work with PLC/HMI programming and automation projects. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of related experience. Responsibilities include programming, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with local electrical codes. The position is permanent with a requirement for 12-hour rotating shifts and involvement in various internal projects to support production efficiency.

Able to function and proficient in PLC/HMI programming languages used in machine‑related programs or applications and electrical/electronic devices.
Software for Movement Controls etc. using any makes of PLCs like Omron, Schneider’s, Siemens, Allen Bradley’s, OMRON, GE Fanuc, Mitsubishi, etc.
USER INTERFACES – Using HMI Software, and if required coding in programming languages
Knowledge of Electrical Power Controls for VSD, DOL Electrical Motors, Relay Logic Design for hardwired Panels
Understand how to apply automation sensors and actuators
Knowledge of industrial network protocol, e.g.: Profi‑bus, Ethernet, ControlNet & DeviceNet
Knowledge of Vision system for Datalogic & AccuSentry.
Ability to perform automated equipment repair and has proficiency in troubleshooting and calibrating circuits, systems and devices used in measurement and control.
Ability to perform parameter & configuration of AC/DC drive controllers & DC Current Rectifier.
Ability to install equipment in compliance with local electrical codes covering installation, modification and use of electrical/electronic systems and equipment.
Ability to read, interpret and comprehend equipment service manuals. Ability to work in close co‑operation with a team consisting of vendors, contractors, operators, engineers & supervisors.
Ability to work in close co‑operation with contractors to accomplish high quality work. General knowledge of both computer software and hardware.
To perform case study for the repeatable problem and cost saving project and lead project for major modification.
Provides leadership and vision for systems and technical environments.
Ability to accomplish high quality work.
Responsible for existing lines, testers, equipment and automation projects support, including master list update, PM, calibration, providing 1st level trouble shooting and repairing.
Responsible for spare parts review and periodically top‑up maintenance, to keep production running smoothly and effectively.
Work with suppliers for various quotes, training and support.
Support various internal and customer audits, including 5S, process compliance, CCC, EHS and ISO.
Actively involve and contribute to internal Kaizen project, new equipment introduction & projects implementation.
Formal Education/Field of Knowledge: Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or ITC/NTC with working experience in manufacturing.
Experience/Proficiency Level: In addition, 5 years or above of related job experience are generally required. At a senior level of proficiency, the employee conducts the more difficult assignments, guides the work of others, and provides input on work procedures.
Willing to perform 12‑hour rotating shifts.
