Job summary

SAKSOFT PTE LIMITED in Singapore is seeking an experienced System Engineer to install, upgrade, and maintain Windows Server and vSphere environments across our data centers. You will manage file systems, backups, and security, and support third-party software integration.

Candidates should have 10+ years in enterprise IT, hands-on PowerShell scripting, and strong communication skills. This role requires weekend availability and teamwork to ensure reliable, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience with Windows Server OS and vSphere.
• Strong knowledge of Intel x86 server hardware (HPE ProLiant, Dell PowerEdge).
• Experience with large data center facilities operation.
• Proficient in PowerShell.
• Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Windows Server, vSphere and third-party software installation, upgrades and maintenance.
• Installation of hardware and software.
• Maintenance and setup of file systems.
• Resolve software problems with operating systems or third-party products.
• Maintenance of Anti-Virus System.
• File System and Database Backups/restores.
• Setup guidelines, process to enhanced current work activity.
• Performance Monitoring.
• Maintain system security and compliance.
• Configuration management.
• Willing to work on weekends.
