Job description

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee the installation, configuration, and ongoing support of hardware, software, and network systems for project delivery.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement proactive measures to prevent recurrence of issues.
• Support operational systems in line with contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Perform and manage preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault rectification promptly and effectively.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
• Diagnose, escalate, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Undertake standby duties as required.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Windows Server OS and Unix/Linux OS in virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
• Good knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including:
  • Networking: VPN, firewalls, routers, and switches
  • Hardware: servers, SAN (Storage Area Networks), and NAS (Network-Attached Storage) devices
  • System Services: Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Exchange/Mail, databases, and web/application servers
• Experience in system/OS hardening and patch management.
• Familiarity with programming languages (SQL, Java, C++, JavaScript) is an advantage.
• Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply; more experienced candidates may be considered for senior positions.
