Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Meeting with the management team to assess and define the system requirements.
• Troubleshooting technical issues and developing effective solutions.
• Training the engineering team on new systems, protocols, and best practices.
• Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in technology, protocols, and best practices
• Carry out testing, integration, and commissioning of an array of instrumentation and control systems for commercial projects.
• Design control panels and subpanels and generating I/O lists.
• Develop process functional and software designs specifications including control write-up and control schematics.
• Carry out development, engineering and testing of DCS/ DDC/ PLC/ SCADA software.
• Interface design, implementation and testing between various third‑party communication protocols.
• Development of hardware and software design specifications and other software/ test documentation.
• Carry out diagnosis and resolution of electrical, instrumentation and control systems issues.
• Ensuring the Project timeline and documentation.
• Site Testing and Commissioning with clients.
• To liaise with multiple stakeholders of each project, internal (procurement, other disciplines etc) or external (consultants, clients, sub-contractors etc) in ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Experience

• 5 years and above experience in Industrial and process automation, and/or building ACMV systems for built environment projects.
• Experience in building management systems will be advantageous.
