Job summary

STAR CAREER CONSULTING PTE LTD is seeking a capable engineer to serve as a key technology partner for defence and security projects in Singapore. The role focuses on designing and deploying systems with servers and network elements across wide area networks, gathering requirements, and delivering robust solutions.

You will work with project managers to define specifications, set up development and integration test beds, source equipment, and coordinate vendor activities.

Qualifications

• Analytical thinking and clear technical writing are essential.
• Willing to mentor and share knowledge with teammates.
• Cisco certification is highly desirable.
• Red Hat certification is highly desirable.
• Interest in hardware integration and site testing.
• Willingness to travel for overseas assignments.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the definition, design, installation and delivery of systems comprising servers and network elements deployed over wide area networks.
• Identify all contractual system requirements and propose solutions.
• Work with the project or system manager to generate system specifications.
• Set up test bed for development and integration testing.
• Sourcing equipment and managing vendor relationships.
• Formulating system validation and sub-system integrations into Acceptance Test cases and evaluation activities.
• Support Acceptance Test with Customer and compiling Acceptance Test report.

The role involves designing and deploying systems with servers and network elements over wide area networks. Responsibilities include identifying system requirements, proposing solutions, testing and delivery of the system.

• Identifying all contractual system requirements (system analysis inclusive of interface requirements) and propose solutions
• Work with the project or system manager to generate system specifications
• Set up test bed for development and integration testing

• Formulating system validation and sub-system integrations into Acceptance Test cases and evaluation activities
• Support Acceptance Test with Customer and compiling Acceptance Test report
