A leading consulting firm in Singapore is seeking a Senior System Analyst to guide strategic system analysis across complex business initiatives. In this role, you will mentor a team of analysts, translate business needs into technical solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure efficient system implementation and optimization. The ideal candidate will have 7–10+ years of experience in systems analysis and leadership skills.

Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years of experience in systems/business analysis.
  • 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory position.
  • Experience with Data and/or AI will be a bonus.

Job description

We’re seeking an experienced Senior System Analyst to guide strategic system analysis across complex business initiatives. You’ll mentor a team of analysts, translate business needs into technical solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure efficient system implementation and optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead requirements gathering and requirements management across stakeholder groups. Validate, document, and manage evolving system specifications.
  • Conduct business process analysis, identifying inefficiencies, redundancies, and opportunities. Use modeling techniques to propose optimized workflows.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs, data mappings, integration specs (APIs, source‑to‑target mapping), and user acceptance testing criteria.
  • Oversee design documentation, test plans, functional and non‑functional specifications; validate and test solutions through QA and UAT phases.
  • Serve as technical liaison: aligning IT delivery (developers, architects, QA) with stakeholder expectations and timelines. Escalate issues and act as primary point of contact.
  • Mentor, train, and lead junior system/business analysts; contribute to staff hiring, performance reviews, and ongoing development.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, establish best practices for analysis and documentation standards across the team.
  • Participate in strategic planning, enterprise architecture initiatives, and assess risk/opportunities associated with systems enhancements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, and/or related experience
  • 7–10+ years of experience in systems/business analysis; including 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory position.
  • Experience with Data and/or AI will be a bonus.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Able to translate technical details into business‑friendly language.
