Job description

Responsibilities

• Plan, carry out the surveys required for the project and set site boundaries.
• Carry out surveys for BCM, SBS & lifting beam segment erection of precast segments for MRT viaduct.
• Modelling viaduct alignment to obtain global easting, northing, and level values for each control point.
• Survey and checking data within tolerance & calculating necessary adjustments to rectify erection errors.
• Establish demarcations for construction to begin
• Recording measurements manually or with electronic equipment.
• Conduct measurements and evaluations of project site
• Monitor and ensure accuracy and correctness of the survey data and measurement collected during the work progress.
• Coordinate with engineering / site team for engineering drawings and sketches
• Analyse data collected, perform mathematical calculations, develop land survey reports
• Ensure survey equipment are well maintain for accuracies
• Supervise and lead your survey team in handling all survey related matters

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil / Structural / Land Surveying
• At least 5 years of working experience in civil and building works.
• Candidate with LTA/MRT precast viaduct erection projects experience will be an advantage
• Must be fit and able to work outdoors
• Preferred with knowledge in AutoCAD 2D & 3D and some design software
• Have extensive experience in handling viaduct pre-camber data, viaduct geometry control and coordination with other parties involve for accurate results.
• Experience in analysing data, perform complex measurements and calculations and recording results accurately.
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Keen eye for details
