Job summary

Building and Construction Authority (BCA) seeks resourceful and self-motivated individuals to contribute to Singapore's built environment. The role focuses on processing structural plans, conducting audits, and investigating dangerous buildings to ensure safety and compliance.

Candidates should hold a civil/structural engineering degree, possess 4+ years in structural design/analysis, and have PPE clearance (PEB Singapore registration preferred).

Qualifications

• A degree in civil and structural engineering.
• At least 4 years of working experience in structural design and analysis.
• Passed the PPE and preferably registered with the Professional Engineers Board Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Process and approve structural plans and calculations submitted by Professional Engineers and Accredited Checkers.
• Perform audit checks on selected structures and conduct construction site checks.
• Investigate complaints on dangerous buildings and assess structural integrity and safety.
• Review policies and regulations related to the safety of the built environment.
