Senior Structural Engineer - Infrastructure & Temp Works Lead

Job summary

Samsung C&T in Singapore seeks an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to review RC structural shop drawings and approve temporary works. You will coordinate with civil consultants, accredit checkers, and Arch/SWC consultants along with construction teams and authorities where needed.

The role requires design management skills, proficiency in STAAD and AutoCAD (or Microstation), and relevant site exposure to infrastructure projects, including underground roadways.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of civil engineering consultancy experience in civil, building and structural design works.
• Experience in infrastructure projects is mandatory (LTA Project is preferred).
• Site experience in Underground roadway project is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review design package and prepare/ approve shop drawing of RC structural works and temporary works (strut, waler, etc.)
• Coordination of structural design works with design-relevant counter parties (i.e. Civil consultant, accredit checker, and Arch/SWC consultant) and construction team, as well as authorities if necessary
• Design of temporary works related to structural design
• Assist project department in solving design related matters
• Manage and resolve production, quality, design & engineering and schedule issue
• Other duties as required
