Job summary

A leading construction company in Singapore is looking for a Civil & Structural Engineer to design and analyze engineering works. Responsibilities include preparing design calculations and overseeing all structural works on-site. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and at least 5 years of structural coordination experience in building construction. This role requires strong project management and liaison skills with consultants and contractors, as well as the ability to initiate work immediately.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of structural specifications and requirements.

• Design, analysis and plan for Civil & Structural engineering works
• Prepare design calculations, drawings and carry out Authority submissions
• Responsible for timely submission of plans and reports to Consultant and Authorities
• To coordinate & liaise with consultant, sub-con and other trades eg M&E and architectural for projects specifications & other technical issues
• To assist in project coordination and oversee of all structural/Civil works on site and ensure all related activities are carried out as per drawings
• Attend meetings inclusive technical meetings (not withstanding to minutes down the meeting if necessary) and site walks during the construction phase of project
• Keep track of test reports, tests, ST, Green Mark scheme and constructability scheme
• Document control and compilation accordance to company ISO standard

Requirements

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering / Building
• Min 5 years structural coordinator experience in building construction Project
• Good knowledge of Structural specifications & requirements
• Preference will be given to those who can commence immediately
