Job summary

DP Engineers Pte Ltd. is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer in Singapore to lead engineering design efforts from concept to detailed drawings.

You will perform structural analyses, participate in tenders, and ensure documentation aligns with ISO standards. You will also coordinate with project directors, review submittals, and respond to site queries to keep design work aligned with client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• 8 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity.
• Positive attitude and meticulous with an eye for detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; a team player.
• Fast learner with ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering designs from conceptual to detailed designs per project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering designs based on project requirements, from conceptual to schematic and detailed designs;
• Carry out structural design analysis and calculations;
• Participate in the tendering processes and monitors the work of contractors and subcontractors;
• Maintain overall records of incoming and outgoing documents, drawing registers, RFI and shop drawings to ISO standard compliance;
• Assist Project Director/Manager to resolve/review design, specifications, calculations, and other submittals, ensure the designs and models developed are in accordance to project requirements and attend to site queries/ issues;
• Review and approve contractor’s shop drawings and material submissions.
