Job summary

A leading engineering joint venture in Singapore seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to manage structure planning and coordination for LTA underground projects. The ideal candidate has a degree in Civil Engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and knowledge of Eurocode and construction sequences. Responsibilities include coordination with the construction team, reviewing structural designs, and ensuring compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Civil and Structural Engineering, particularly with LTA Projects.
• Experience as Structural Engineer for D&B contractor side is advantageous.
• Familiarity with construction sequences and relevant design specifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Construction team and Design Consultant for detail design development.
• Review structural calculations and planning for ERSS system.
• Check and rectify structural drawings and shop drawings.

Job description

Senior Structural Engineer in charge of Structure Planning/ Shop Drawing/Managing/coordination with Design Consultant, Construction Subcontractors and In-House CAD Drafters in LTA underground station PJ (CR108)

Roles & responsibilities:

1. Coordination with Construction team/ Design Consultant/PE/construction subcontractor, etc. for Detail Design Development.

2. Review Structural Analysis and Calculation carried out by design consultant and develop simple structural calculation for temporary works.

3. Review and planning for ERSS system for Underground structure using Diaphragm wall such as KP, Decking, Strutting, decking, etc.

4. Planning necessary design concept for UG structure work related with construction activity, site condition, authority requirement, etc.

5. Check/Rectification of all the structural drawing/ shop drawing.

Requirements and relevant experience are as below;

1. Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree of Civil Engineering or close discipline;

2. Minimum 5 years of experience in Civil and Structural Engineering especially for LTA Project

3. Be well-aware of Underground Structure/Construction Sequences and related civil design works.

4. Be well-aware of Eurocode, LTA CDC, and relevant design specification/standards
