Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Senior Structural Coordinator to design and supervise Civil & Structural engineering projects. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in hospital projects, and a strong understanding of structural specifications. This role involves coordinating with consultants and overseeing all site activities to ensure compliance with project drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years Senior Structural Coordinator experience.
• Preferably hospital project experience.
• Good knowledge of Structural specifications and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan for Civil & Structural engineering works.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, and submissions.
• Coordinate with consultants and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Oversee structural works on site.
• Maintain documentation according to ISO standards.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Design, analysis and plan for Civil & Structural engineering works
• Prepare design calculations, drawings and carry out Authority submissions
• Responsible for timely submission of plans and reports to Consultant and Authorities
• To coordinate & liaise with consultant, sub-con and other trades eg M&E and architectural for projects specifications & other technical issues
• To assist in project coordination and oversee of all structural/Civil works on site and ensure all related activities are carried out as per drawings
• Attend meetings inclusive technical meetings (not withstanding to minutes down the meeting if necessary) and site walks during the construction phase of project
• Keep track of test reports, tests, ST, Green Mark scheme and constructability scheme
• Document control and compilation accordance to company ISO standard

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering / Building
• Min 5 years Senior Structural Coordinator experience
• Preferably hospital project experience
• Good knowledge of Structural specifications & requirements
