Hudson is partnering with a leading organisation in the manufacturing industry to recruit a Senior Statutory Reporting & Compliance Lead (Manufacturing Industry) on a 1 -year renewable contract. This position offers an excellent opportunity for finance professionals with an external audit background to move into an industry role that focuses on financial reporting, statutory compliance, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements and ensure full compliance with accounting standards (SFRS/IFRS) and regulatory requirements.

• Manage all statutory and regulatory filings, including tax, corporate secretarial, and other compliance obligations.

• Coordinate and support external audits, ensuring timely completion and resolution of audit matters.

• Maintain robust internal controls and documentation to support compliance and reporting accuracy.

• Monitor changes in accounting and regulatory standards and assess their impact on the organisation’s reporting processes.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure data integrity and alignment with reporting requirements.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with a recognised professional qualification (CPA/CA/ACCA).

• 5+ years of relevant experience, with a mandatory external audit background and subsequent exposure to financial or statutory reporting within a commercial environment.

• Strong technical accounting and regulatory knowledge, with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proactive, analytical, and capable of managing multiple reporting deadlines independently.
