Job summary

A healthcare organization in Singapore is seeking a Senior/Staff Nurse (Orthopaedic) to provide comprehensive nursing care within the orthopaedic department. This permanent position requires at least 2-3 years of experience and registration with the Singapore Nursing Board. The role includes assisting in patient care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and comfort.

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the orthopaedic department.

  • Position Title: Senior/ Staff Nurse (Orthopaedic)
  • Working Location: Central
  • Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri 8.30am-5.30pm, Sat 8.30am-12.30pm)
  • Salary Package: Basic $4,000 - $4800 + Bonus + OT
  • Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the orthopaedic department.
  • Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and document patients’ conditions, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
  • Assist with orthopaedic procedures and surgeries, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Educate patients and their families about health management and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Experience in OT booking of appts and insurance/ medisave claims

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Diploma in Nursing.
  • At least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Registered with Singapore Nursing Board.
