Qualifications

  • Experience in Cardiothoracic/ Open Heart Surgery is a must.
  • Able to commit to a 5 days work week and work on-call/standby duties.
  • Possess a valid Singapore Nursing Board license.

Responsibilities

  • Assist surgeon(s) during operative procedures.
  • Carry out scrub/circulating nurse responsibilities in accordance with procedures.
  • Coordinate and orientate patients for safe transport and transfer.
  • Provide post-operative recovery care.
  • Participate in reviewing nursing protocols and policies for improvement.

Who We Need

You will work alongside the Nursing Leaders to deliver patient-centred and compassionate nursing care to our patients in the Operating Theatre.

Your key responsibilities are:

  • Assist surgeon(s) during operative procedures. Ensure that appropriate documentation is done.
  • Carries out Scrub/ circulating nurse responsibilities in accordance to procedure(s).
  • Coordinate with other units, escort and orientates patients to ensure a safe and seamless patient transport and transfer.
  • Post-operative recovery Care.
  • Participate in the review nursing protocols, policies and procedures for continuous improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned by the management.
How to Succeed
  • Experiences in Cardiothoracic/ Open Heart Surgery is a must.
  • Willing to be deployed to multidiciline surgaries as needed.
  • Strong team-player, self-starter with strong sense of initiative, agility and perseverance in starting and building a strong culture in performance & engagement.
  • Able to commit to 5 days work week and work on-call/ standby duties.
  • Possess either a Diploma or Degree in Nursing with a valid Singapore Nursing Board license.
