Job summary

NNI invites experienced Neuroscience-trained nurses to join our team across multiple campuses in Singapore. The role emphasizes assessing and advancing clinical practice, supporting nursing staff, and delivering comprehensive patient education for neuroscience patients and their families.

Applicants should hold a registered nursing qualification with SNB, have at least five years in acute care, and preferably experience in community or palliative care.

Qualifications

• Recognised General Nursing qualification and registration with the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Degree in Nursing or Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Neuroscience specialty preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant clinical experience in an acute care hospital.
• Experience in community nursing and/or palliative care preferred; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop, implement and evaluate the clinical practice setting and standard of care for community and supportive/palliative patients.
• Act as a clinical resource person to nursing staff and manage a Neuroscience caseload.
• Provide teaching programmes, resources and comprehensive patient education to patients, families and the public.

Job description

Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing and evaluating the overall clinical practice setting and standard of care for patients requiring community care and supportive/palliative care in NNI. You will work closely with all grades of nursing staff, physicians, inter-disciplinary team and community partners to provide optimal supportive to our patients. You will act as a clinical resource person to nursing staff in the management of patients and manages a practice caseload in Neuroscience. You will adopt evidence-based clinical practice, teaching programmes to nursing staff and community partners, provide resources and comprehensive patient education programmes to patients, families & public.

Job Requirements

• Recognised General Nursing qualification and registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
• Degree in Nursing or Advanced Diploma in Nursing or its equivalent in the area of Neuroscience specialty is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant clinical working experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Experience in community nursing and/or palliative care is preferred
• Possesses good communication skills and a good team player
• Able to work at various NNI campuses
