Job description

We are seeking an experienced talent to join our Operations Planning & Controlling team. This role is responsible for developing and managing mid to long term strategic operation plans and capacity management to optimize our operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Be the cluster responsible for managing the high-level mid to long term planning horizon business scenario planning focusing on test planning across 10 global production sites
  • Ensure on time feedback from production sites on production capacity, stakeholders resp. to meet the demand and forecast using good planning systematic via tool such as S&OP and Capacity Planning tool focusing on test planning
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Test Planning process and Capacity Planning tool and BE interface to BE Sites and central functions such as CSC on overarching IFX to BE planning process and cross-functional planning integration projects
  • Proactively engage and collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve forecast and supply (ramp, realization) risk issues and to ensure alignment and efficient implementation of aligned plans to meet cluster objectives
  • Track and manage BE capacity ramp related KPIs by utilizing data to identify trends, opportunities, areas for improvement and reports to measure performance against KPIs
  • Generate management reports and drive for performance improvement and gap closure
  • Challenge and justify equipment investment request focus on test platforms to achieve CapEx optimization and drive for good planning and forecast accuracy.
  • Drive production capacity through equipment optimization across global sites
  • Play a leading role for projects to improve internal processes, and to optimize and harmonize planning processes and tools across global sites
  • Establish clear global guidelines and good governance processes to ensure compliance. Drive review to ensure timely updates
Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering / Science /Business with minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Semiconductor industry
  • An individual who has strong work ethic, who is highly self-driven, proactive with high adaptability to changing environment, and able to deliver management reports on tight deadlines
  • Possess solid business acumen, analytical ability, problem-solving skills with some project management experience
  • Able to work well both independently and work as a team – collaborate with cross-functional teams from different countries with diverse cultures efficiently and effectively
  • Experience in Data analytics tool, Tableau and Knowledge of planning and supply chain process & tool such as S&OP will be an advantage
