Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks an AI Product Owner to drive the SMAI program, shaping the roadmap for yield smart manufacturing solutions and coordinating across global teams.

You will work with fab engineers and data scientists to apply AI/GenAI methods, use metrics to drive improvements, and deliver end-to-end solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in Process Equipment Engineering (PEE) or PIE.
• Proven project leadership with strong program management.
• Deep domain knowledge of fab processes and yield improvement.
• Good understanding of early stage technology development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for Data Science, AI and GenAI in manufacturing.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own and shape strategic roadmap of yield smart manufacturing solutions (YMS applications), work with users to capture and analyze information related to the adoption of SMAI solutions.
• Identify gaps, weaknesses, and inefficiencies in current solutions, including opportunities for AI-driven enhancements.
• Define business solutions and propose projects for implementation, work with fab engineers and data scientist to solve tactical yield issue, leveraging data science, AI and GenAI technologies where applicable.
• Lead projects and activities requiring coordination, support, and management of resources from global teams. Collaborate with AI Engineer and Data Scientist to design, execute, and deliver smart manufacturing solutions.
• Use metrics and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement, including predictive analytics and intelligent decision support.
• Provide domain and system expertise; collaborate with data scientists to perform data analysis and identify opportunities on early technology development and yield ramp challenges using AI/ML models.

As a AI Product Owner at Micron Technology, Inc., you will report to the Smart Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence organization. The team defines, drives, and delivers end-to-end smart manufacturing solutions, integrated across functions of the business. The team applies industry-leading methodologies in automation, artificial intelligence (AI) , and generative AI (GenAI) to enhance Micron's product development, business, and administrative processes across the company.

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Process Equipment Engineering (PEE) department, i.e. Dry Etch, CVD, PVD, Diffusion, Photo, CMP, Wet, Implant or Process Integration Engineering (PIE), i.e. yield analysis, defect analysis, process integration.
• Proven experience leading and managing projects, with strong program and project management capabilities.
• Possess strong domain knowledge of fab processes, experienced in yield improvement activities.
• Good understanding and experience in early stage technology development
• Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong passion for Data Science (DS), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Generative AI (GenAI), with a strong interest in applying these technologies to smart manufacturing and yield improvement.
• Self-motivated and excellent in communication, team work, and collaboration with other departments.
