Job summary

GE Vernova in Singapore seeks a senior Sourcing & Procurement leader to steer supplier strategy, support new product introduction, and manage daily sourcing operations at the Singapore shop, with broader responsibility for global fulfillment and ERP enhancements. You will report to the Global Repair Sourcing Leader and play a pivotal role in shop growth.

Qualifications

Advanced experience in Sourcing & Buying-Procurement with 10+ years in sourcing.
Proven cross-cultural people and team leadership.
Experience in manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Lead supplier qualification to ensure vendors are safety-qualified.
Collaborate with quality teams to address supplier quality issues and recovery plans.
Oversee material and service fulfillment and improve supplier performance.
Drive lead time reduction through material planning and Kaizen-based improvements.
Define and implement cost-saving projects with engineering and shop teams.
Negotiate payment terms to improve cash position and resolve AP issues.
Create and execute strategy to transform shop sourcing for best cost and lead time.
Train and coach sourcing staff on policies and procedures.
Drive continuous improvement using Lean and daily management tools.
Lead global scope for repair sourcing on fulfillment and ERP improvements.
