Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, software engineering, IT or related discipline.
• 12 years of experience in solution architecture and technical leadership.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale mission-critical software.
• Experience defining architecture principles, standards and governance.
• Ability to make architecture decisions covering scalability, security and maintainability.
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud-native, microservices, APIs and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD and modern engineering practices.
• Experience across public/private/on-premise cloud environments.
• Experience creating reusable frameworks and development platforms.
• Ability to mentor senior engineers and drive engineering maturity.
• Strong security architecture understanding and risk management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and set direction for IT architecture, standards, design and implementation.
• Translate business requirements into architecture specifications for applications.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies considering practicality and criticality.
• Create, evaluate and implement high-level plans and design proposals for IT solutions.
• Design architecture blueprint across multiple modelling approaches.
• Manage technical delivery, code reviews and performance tuning for scalability.
• Document all solution architecture work and decisions.
• Collaborate with vendor teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Analyze performance and scalability of code and queries.
• Provide architecture support during production incidents.
• Mentor technical staff and raise competencies across teams.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and digital trends.
