About the job Senior Software Engineer (Java)

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, develop, customize, implement, and maintain assigned systems in alignment with business requirements
• Participate in gathering requirements, perform technical impact analysis, estimate development efforts, and create and review technical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage offshore development teams to ensure compliance with technical standards and quality benchmarks, while conducting code reviews to identify issues and enforce best practices.
• Conduct unit and system integration testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT), prepare release procedures, and ensure smooth deployment of production implementations.
• Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, develop workarounds, and conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues, recommending preventive actions to prevent future problems.

Job Requirements:

• Experience working with offshore teams is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with deploying and maintaining cloud‑native Java applications on Microsoft Azure is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Newgen BPM system is preferred.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and/or Agile).
• Excellent presentation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership of assigned tasks.
