Job summary

Google Pay Ads team in Singapore seeks a Senior Software Engineer to drive mobile experiences on Android and iOS using Flutter (Dart). You will work on ad and voucher serving, ML pipelines, and analytics, delivering robust features for billions of users.

You will collaborate with UX and product leads, mentor junior engineers, and use AI tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end and front-end technologies.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 1 year of experience building data infrastructure and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work extensively in a Flutter (Dart) codebase delivering Android and iOS experiences to GPay users.
• Understand Ad and voucher serving system (Java/C++), recommend, and implement improvements to external systems.
• Understand ads logging and ML pipelines and how to optimize them for our publisher.
• Use AI development tools to automate and accelerate your individual work as well as the team's operations.
• Partner with UX and Product Management leads to build new user-facing experiences.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 1 year of experience building data infrastructure and solutions (e.g., designing architecture, building data pipelines, implementing scalable monitoring, build advanced visualizations).

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Experience in data collection/monitoring/alerting infrastructure, data analysis pipelines and machine learning.
