Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Google Pay Ads in Singapore. You will contribute to Flutter/Dart-based Android and iOS experiences, work on ad and voucher services, and optimize ML pipelines for publishers. Collaboration with UX and PM teams will be essential as we scale features.

Candidates should have strong software development experience across multiple languages, architectural design, and data infrastructure experience to support scalable, visible ad solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Flutter (Dart) codebase delivering Android and iOS experiences for Google Pay Ads.
• Understand Ad and voucher serving systems (Java/C++), and propose improvements.
• Understand ads logging and ML pipelines and optimize them for publishers.
• Use AI development tools to accelerate individual and team work.
• Collaborate with UX and Product Management leads to build new user experiences.

• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 1 year of experience building data infrastructure and solutions (e.g., designing architecture, building data pipelines, implementing scalable monitoring, build advanced visualizations).

• 3 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 1 year of experience building data infrastructure and solutions (e.g., designing architecture, building data pipelines, implementing scalable monitoring, build advanced visualizations).

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  
• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
  
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
  
• Experience in data collection/monitoring/alerting infrastructure, data analysis pipelines and machine learning.
