Job summary

A technology solutions company in Singapore is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and implementation of both inhouse-built and third-party software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL capabilities, proficiency in Python or Java, and be familiar with software development lifecycle best practices. This hybrid role requires the ability to work independently and manage the entire development lifecycle, from analysis to deployment and operations support.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing data models and optimizing code.
• Ability to work independently and understand broader solution design.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and firewall configurations.

About the job Senior Software Engineer (FullStack)

A "Senior Software Engineer" is a mid-level professional focused on leading the design and implementation of inhouse-built or in the integration of third-party software solutions (incl. software-as-a-service) used by the business teams. You will find yourself involved in the entire development lifecycle, starting with the support of the business analysis phase up to production deployment and 3rd level operations support.

Skills:

• Strong SQL capabilities.
• Experience in designing data models and optimizing code.
• Proficiency in either Python or Java (at least one language).
• Ability to work independently and understand broader solution design.

Technical Knowledge Expectations:

• Best Development practices
• SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle)
• CI/CD pipelines
• Firewall configurations and deployment in secure environments
• Scripting Java and Python expertise familiarity with Spring Boot, Hibernate, PostgreSQL and Microservices is valuable.
• Understanding of ECS Fargate and Linux
