Job summary

RJC Group in Singapore is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our energy and commodities technology team. You will own critical features and collaborate with Risk, Finance and Product stakeholders to develop and support applications underpinning a global commodities business.

You'll blend hands-on development with L3 support in a modern Azure-based environment, delivering value through reliable software and robust deployments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong Angular experience - essential.
• Experience with SQL Server and Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software engineering practices.
• Previous experience within commodities, energy, trading, investment banking, hedge funds, shipping or another relevant financial environment.

Responsibilities

• Developing and enhancing applications using .NET, C# and Angular.
• Working closely with Risk, Finance and Product teams across Singapore.
• Building and maintaining applications hosted within Azure.
• Developing and supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Providing L3 technical support and resolving complex production issues.
• Contributing to transformation projects and the ongoing evolution of the technology estate.
