Job summary

ST Engineering is seeking Senior/Software Engineers to advance autonomous naval systems. You will design, implement, and test software enabling unmanned vessels to operate autonomously, focusing on network communications and robust C++ code.

The role requires experience in software development, SDLC, and a collaborative mindset, with emphasis on documentation, validation, and continuous learning in robotics software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 2+ years of software development experience, preferably in C++.
• Experience in network communications and autonomous systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of AI/ML is an advantage.
• Proficiency in documenting requirements and specifications.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather software requirements, conduct design, implementation and testing.
• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Write well-designed, testable code in C++.
• Develop and implement software testing and validation plans to ensure quality.
• Stay up-to-date on robotics software developments and contribute new ideas.
• Document and maintain software design, testing and validation plans.
• Conduct software integration and testing with actual system.
