About the Role

We are looking for an experienced frontend engineer to join our engineering team at GoTo Financial. You will be responsible for designing and building high-performance fintech applications, focussing on building the best possible user experience. As a senior engineer, you will work on our flagship products across GoTo, including Gojek, GoPay, Tokopedia, and TikTokShop, ensuring our millions of users get the best experience.

What You Will Do

• Work with our product team to solve requirements related to customer journeys on mobile native, Flutter, and Web
• Lead projects to implement features across multiple apps
• Improve the customer experience for our existing apps by optimizing the usability, performance, and code quality
• Contribute to architecture decisions across teams and shape the technical direction
• Mentor and grow other developers to build a culture of learning and innovation
• Participate in production support and respond to alerts and escalations in customer support

What You Will Need

• 6-8 years of mobile app development in Android
• Knowledge of building apps in Android native and Flutter, and familiarity with Android/Flutter Dev Tools
• Experience architecting and maintaining a consumer-facing app, including release planning, monitoring, and testing practices
• Familiar with the entire SDLC, and Agile project management practices like Scrum
• Strong sense of good UI and UX best practices
• Knowledge of building web apps in React (preferred) or any other web framework
• Experience with backend development using Java/Kotlin/Nodejs/Go etc is a plus
• Experience with team or people management is a plus
